Who Are We?

Back in 2005, Howard Rissen, founder of Blue Intellect was concerned.

A specialist in the recruitment industry Howard was perturbed how his clients were treated: he found that they were given misleading advice about their earnings, their tax status and charged high fees.

Blue Intellect Services was set up to ensure that its contractor employees received the treatment they deserve and to remove uncertainty about the amount they get paid.

This coupled with excellent service has set an industry benchmark.

Although the choice of the creative recruitment industry, Blue Intellect provides services to agencies across the spectrum.

How It Works

Become a Blue Intellect employee by registering online on our secure website. The process is quick and easy. If you have all your details to hand we could approve you on the very same day.

As soon as you know where you are working, email us the details so we can confirm your contract and set up the placement on your account. We need to know the following:

Agency/Direct Client Name
Contact Name
Contact Telephone Number
Contract Start Date
Rate of Pay

• Easily create a timesheet for your placement by logging into your account on myBlueIntellect . Enter your hours or days worked, then fax or email it back to the details on the timesheet unless you have been told otherwise by us.

As soon as your timesheet is in the system we automatically turn it into an invoice which we send straight to your agency or direct client.

Unlike other agencies that process whatever they are given, each timesheet is electronically matched to ensure the data you have given us is correct. This ensures the invoice we send out is correct and your pay is not delayed in any way.

As soon as we receive funds from your agency or direct client, we will pay you. We cannot pay you until we have been paid! You can track your wages via myBlueIntellect. Our handy little pay tracker displays the status of each of your timesheets so you know exactly where they are in the payment process.

We run a weekly payroll. Your tax and NI is calculated whilst factoring any tax relief for allowable expenses. Payments to the HMRC are made on your behalf on a PAYE basis. You can rest assured that when you receive your wages you are completely legit, and fully HMRC compliant.

We'll email you a detailed payslip showing your final take home pay following statutory deductions and details of any additional payments and benefits such holiday and expenses claims. All your payslips can be viewed in myBlueIntellect.
