Pulse Umbrella company takes over Umbrella Staff
The Pulse Umbrella Group have announced that it has acquired the long established umbrella company business Umbrella Staff. The move will put The Pulse Umbrella Group within the top 5 umbrella companies in the UK.
Umbrella Staff provides umbrella company payroll services across all industry sectors, but primarily within the IT and Healthcare markets.
Chris Futcher, Chief Executive of The Pulse Umbrella Group who earlier this year led a successful management buyout of the company said:
"The Umbrella Staff acquisition is key to our growth strategy and has been the culmination of many months of planning and hard work.
"The Umbrella Staff brand, has been prominent in the market for nearly 4 years, and whilst we can demonstrate an impressive book of Agency Partners, there is a lot more potential to unlock.
"At Pulse we deliver a platinum service to both agency partners and contractors alike, with a focus on technology to underpin the delivery of client facing, service driven products.
"The Umbrella Staff brand is very much aligned within that space. We will be setting out some plans over the coming weeks to embed the Umbrella Staff business within The Pulse Umbrella Group. This may see the Umbrella Staff business becoming integrated entirely under the Pulse brand"
Umbrella Staff's clients will benefit from the award winning customer service led approach which has seen Pulse Umbrella grow by more than 200% over the previous 12 months.
This, combined with thorough and detailed policy and operational processes around key legislative issues such as Agency Worker Regulations will strengthen the combined service offering, across a much wider client base.
The move will also enable Pulse to gain a much sought after market share of the IT contracting sector.
Chris Futcher added: "The additional revenues which will be realised by the acquisition will predominantly be reinvested to bring further contractor and recruiter centric product verticals to the market in the first and second quarters of next year."
